Children's Ministry
Children are an important part of the ministry here at First Baptist Church of Lake Waccamaw! Jesus holds children very close to His heart, and we want to do the same!
Our children's department is for children from pre-K through 5th grade. The children meet once a week during the Sunday School hour in age-related classes.
Children's Church:
Children's Church is available for children pre-K thru 5th grade and meets during the Sunday morning worship service.
Baptist Bible Drills:
Sunday nights from 5:45-7:00 p.m., ages pre-K thru 5th grade meet together in age-appropriate groups to learn the Bible, participate in various activities, make new friends and have a great time.
We also have special events and activities for our children throughout the year, such as special holiday events, Christmas activities, and Vacation Bible School and camps during the summer months.
GA's and RA's:
Pre-K through 5th graders meet every Wednesday night at 6:00 p.m. for GA's and RA's, a great opportunity to teach our children about missions and get them involved in various mission projects and activities.
Our classrooms are clean and orderly, and decorated with the children in mind. We have Sunday School classes for every age group, and our Bible curriculum is age-appropriate and taught by teachers who love the children and know how to communicate the Truth to them on their level.
